Climate Resilient Development
This report talks a lot about the importance of climate resilient development, especially during the rebuilding process. So it's not sufficient just to try to push the hazard away werwhatver sea walls, but really to ensure that equity and volnability is reduced. I mean, we have seen that in new orleans, for example, after the dyke construction leaving construction,. A lot of organization took place behind the dyke without protective measures. And this also was, i think, an accumulation of risk mater than a reduction of risk.
