The Government Target for Heat Pumps Isn't a Sustainable Technology
The government wants all new homes built after 2025 to be fitted with a low-carbon heating system. Octopus energy recently tweeted that they will be installing heat pumps for the same cost as a gas boiler, which again, it's a potential game changer. Jonathan Atkinson from Carbon Co-op has had a look at those infrared photos I sent of the outside of my house and they've also had a zoom tour of my house to identify any insulation weaknesses too. Nick is moving into his new home in Lancashire this summer so we wanted to see if he would need an upgrade or not.
