The Importance of Clarity in Career Tracks for Designers
I think that we should rethink the way designers are being put on career tracks. I know this brilliant designer who's worked at Fitbit and now he's founded his own startup. He didn't want to go into managing teams because that would have men doing a lot of paperwork. The design market is growing at a very rapid rate so there will be a need for some clarity in terms of where you are in your career.
