I was too demotivated at the time to look for a new job. I literally couldn't see the good thing about joining another company. So what happened was I just told recruiters, yeah, if you want to place me on a project. Within a couple of conversations, I was already signing a contract. My first project was helping a team clean up a lot of legacy that had been left behind over the years and implement airflow which was pretty nice. And I guess I was worried in the beginning that work would be difficult to come along, but actually the projects just kept coming. There is no job security.
