The Difference Between Speech and Language

Sussior says basically at any point in history you can stop at that point. Speech is the actual speech act or the actual utterance itself, what you hear when I am moving my mouth. Language being the underlying system of how words fit together and how it is that we talk. Sussior: Think of languages like these are the rules. This is how the game works.
