Is the Atacama Trench a Different Species?
The two populations that were most different was the Atacama Trench and the South Sandwich Trench population. The hatal zone is about one to two degrees C, not a lot of food, really high pressure. And we're learning that has really low dissolved oxygen. So its condition is slightly different, which might push selection towards speciation.
