One Swami put it this way, that of course is for monks. Whatever you'd like to eat, eat a little less than that,. And the quality of food which you would want, eat a slightly lower quality than that - not higher. So these are little small rules and they're very helpful. I think spiritual seekers have this kind of obsession about food sometimes, they do some of them.
