The fens near Cambridge are nearly 4,000 square kilometers of marshy fertile soil that accounts for a third of Britain's fruit and veg production. Tom Markwand has been conducting research into the fens at the University of Cambridge. He says they have gravitational forces affecting all of these different cellular processes.
