The Role of Volitional Failure in Strength Improvement
Going to volitional failure is not the same thing as a maximal effort in VIC. This is a maximal torque at right maximal effort, force production or torque. But that is very different doing one maximal effort in an isometric fashion versus a maximum as you just performing what they even said was high volume repetition. The other thing is what you and I had talked about and it's a little bit of kind of research design, but they did something called, you know, it's called intention to treat. And it's worth talking about because of the compliance issues.
