There are many comics who believe in their hearts that stand up comedy is something that can only be learned through suffering, through onstage suffering. I think what i'm teaching is confidence and trying to be comfortable with yourself,. And usually that's pretty funny. Were you always confident enough yourself to feel like you belonged to going up on a stand up stage? Absolutely not.
