Psalm 63 is a psalm of longing. David prays in verse one, o god thou art, my god, early will i seek thee. So as i have seen thee in the sanctuaryoh, what's he really longing for? More than food or water? He's longing for the presence of god and the place of god where he can most fully feel that presence. I don't know of a better place when your soul is truly parched and your heart is longing for god. You know where he lives. Don't seek for the living among the dead. Go to the place of life itself. And that's the house of the lord.
