The Effects of Artificial Sweeteners on Antibiotic Resistance

Researchers found that artificial sweeteners can kill multi-drug resistant bacteria. They could also stop the bacteria forming a biofilm, which protects them from antibiotics. This is hugely exciting but it would be far in excess of what you could actually take orally.
