There are thousands of different ways you could act in various situations, and some of those can easily get you killed. The reality is that 99 point nine nine nine % of the universe you don't know. You only know a very tiny percentage of the universe. And so what you need to recognize that survival has forced you to make a sort of devil's bargain of utility over truth. Not knowing is the real truth.
