Freedom House: A Journey to Saving Lives
In 1971, John Moon saw two Freedom House paramedics in the hospital where he was working as an orderly. After they left, he started researching Freedom House and found out their offices were right across the street. In its first year of operation, Freedom House responded to almost 6,000 calls; it is credited with saving at least 200 lives.
