What Helped Freud Survive?
Sebastian: What helped him survive, i think, is sort of at the heart of the book. He had no difficulty in writing to colleagues about how hateful he could feel towards other patients. In many ways, a lot of doctors back in freud's era would have regarded himself as this mad, maskless, unvaccinated person who was spreading an evil corona viris when they were staying at home. We can't help but think about the corona yris.
