Is the Fed Going to Hike 50 Basis Points?
Julian Zelizer: We're in the Depp and Rip camp. But when you look at it, you're fighting this whole notion that the Fed is going to hike at least 50, maybe 75 basis points more. Heimann has been of the view a good nine months now that inflation is going to fall faster than the market believes. His full year inflation forecast is two and a half percent. The golden two handle, okay, that is an entire new set of circumstances for the Fed to deal with if in fact that's right.
