Is the Physician as Expert Cross Cultural?

In colonial medical systems which are modeled on the same sort of thing, this is there. I'm not sure about other cultures that have not had the kind of British or American imprint in that way,. But I think it is a cross cultural model. Mike: There's a lot of lore and there's aA lot of mistaken ideas about what a medieval physician might say or do. They would do a great job comforting the patient. That's just not correct. People actually knew quite a bit to offer, but there's also criticisms about how little time they spent with patients.
