It's the first book my husband Andy made me read when I met him, because he said, this is what we're going to do together. The meat of the book is about them going around the horn but the first three quarters is a cruising log of their Pacific trip. And it's beautiful. He's my favorite. There's one passage in that book that I've talked about the most and it talks about sailing into a harbor at night. You can enjoy that and not feel the eyes looking at you thinking, Oh, what, who is this guy with his ego?
