Scot: I thought if i, if i was representing my school on jeopardy, that that would be kind of reclaiming, like, some kind of, you know, good points or for me in some sense. So i finally decide it's time to audition for jeopardy right? Ye. The first thing i did was take an on line test. And a few days after that, i got an email that says, hey, you're invited to come to washington, d c for an audition in person,. You'll get to play the game and you'll get to meet some of the crew at the show. It seemed a stretch to me to suggest that i would then go on

Scott Menke never thought he had a particularly compelling personality, but he did feel he stood out in at least one way: he had a natural ability to learn and remember interesting facts.
