Is There a Difference Between English and Welsh?
There is a stew called scouse which is popular in northwest England and then also kind of seeped into the borders of Wales. A lot of mash made of different root vegetables and potatoes that's made you know both in Wales and then in Orthney Islands which are to the north of Scotland. Another favorite personally of mine is this sticky ode gingerbread made in Yorkshire and Lancashire which are both regions of northern England but do not confuse them. There's lots of similarities and differences I think that that was a really important thing for me when doing the research on the book was to show that there are different languages and influences from different countries.
