Pankhurst's Legacy

In 19 28, they finally extended the right to vote all women over the age of 21. So in terms of legacy, pankhurst left a complicated one. Several of her fellow activists were horrified by her becoming a supporter of the government. Her daughter, christabel, remained loyal to her. Two more ters, sylvia and adela, broke sharply with their mother. They both were openly supporting socialist ideals which clash with their mother's commitmen to keeping the w s p o politically neutral.
