If you're really looking for closure, you have to decide that you're ready for it. The letter writer has to decide what are they asking for? Is it to keep things open ended, to call if things change? If that's what they want, they have to sort of be specific about that. And in that moment, I think I err on the side of like, let the truth be heard.
