Taking Pleasure in Other People's Happiness

There is a word I like better than comparison, but it's not an English word. Mudita is simply experiencing the joy that others have or taking pleasure from delighting in other people's well-being. The opposite of this word isn't jealousy. It's actually yet another non-English word: shadenfreude.
