A Brief History of Cahamarka by Francisco Gerez
When pizarro and his men finally arrived at cahamarka, they found the army of the emperor atawalpa encamped in the hills outside the town. Francisco gerez recounts the tense atmosphere on pizarro's arrival. The governor ordered the town to be examined with a view to discovering a stronger position where he might pitch the camp. Some food and supplies arrived for the ish from atawalpas along with his wishes that they should come to meet him soon.
