It's not intrinsically plausible that once you get involved it spies, you may unexpectedly stumble into situations involving spy games of some kind. In any event, while i find it extremely unlikely that the woman was an actual alien, i think there are other possible explanations of what happened. And so i can't rule out that something like this occurred. Maybe they were even just surveiling ingo, and the woman had nothing to do with it. She was just a random shopper who happened to catch ingo's attention,. They wove her into the narrativeo keep ingo from realizing they'd just been spying on him.
