Wages in the restaurant industry have gone up a lot. It's a little harder to tell what's going on with tips, but yes, the workers are definitely seeing it. And i don't think it's a recipe for lots more employments. To go drinks probably cause if you're not in a bar sitting there saying, hit me, hit me again, i would think you would drink less and spend less money over all.
