Pastoral Theology - Is the Family of the Pastor Responsible?

The way that i grew up makes me hyper aware of that. My wife grew up where she was abused, but under the umbrella of piety and devout faith to the church. The reason they're a model of a pious christian family is because behind the scenes, he's a monster. Same thing with dad being teacher of the year four years in row. All the students loved him, and he had students that weren't even his students that would come to him for advice between classes. You just got to see him when he was happily drunk at christmas time, or at holidays or family gatherings. But this is the model of a hypocrisy, you know, in the way of a j
