I know you have some very liberal professionals in your state and I sympathize with you for that but what you actually what you have to do is you have to understand that there is a bias here. Every time they exercise this bias on you it becomes an opportunity to point out You are exercising bias against me. That's the thing you say that you're against they don't care about the hypocrisy.
