When should a society stay out of something, versus when should they be involved? I don't think that line is very clear. So i would rather say, you know, as this society, just as a matter of principle, doesn't take stands on like, debated political issues. And then that kind of saves you from making judgment calls about where does it make sense for us to take up position verst as not?"
