I was always fascinated by what would have happened if Gladstone's first home rule built had passed. I'm convinced we did the right thing, Belgium's neutrality and all the rest of it. But there's a fascinating argument to get into about what point could we have headed it off in 1914? Or does it have to be done much earlier with regard to our onsons with France or I mean, how and how. It gets worse, unfortunately, especially the last chapter, Paul Mad.
