One of the areas tom that i'm fascinated with is when people make that first leap in their career, when they go from over achieving individual contributor to now managing and leading their own team. And there'ssome harvard business review evidence you've cited and talked about in the past that says the star individual performer doesn't necessarily lead to great management. How can we give a career track for those star individual contributors so they don't feel like they have to get promoted into management? As well as how can we get better at hiring leaders so that they can be good from the beginning, as opposed to a taking two years for them to be even average, like it was in my case?
