The Relationship Between Drama, Addiction, and Burnout

There's some great research that came out of Argentina that was studying why some actors after they perform have burnout or withdrawal symptoms from the performance and why others don't. NYU then later did a follow-up study that's saying that there's an emotional residue that for some doesn't get metabolized. And it leaves us in kind of a drunk state, a hangover state. It's called emotional hangover by the way,. And we call them preaching hangover, but same. We all know addiction to drama. My book is just there to validate it and hopefully help some folks who are either addicted to drama or in proximity to those who are.
