The Stonewall Inn, Hella Boujee?

The Stonewall didn't have any running water. It had a bucket behind the bar that like they would wash the glasses in this like bucket of water. So you rinse the glass and dry it off and then give it to the next person. There's also this thing, this weird ridiculous legal fiction where because it's illegal to have a gay bar and they don't have a liquor license, the Stonewall had to run on this fiction that it was a members only club. They would always hire gay people as bouncers because oftentimes when the cops came, they would arrest the people working there.
