The Different Driving Forces Behind the Predictability of Returns
The predictability of returns almost a year ago, again I think it's more seasonal related. A lot of things follow an annual cycle and therefore have price pressure effects that follow that same annual cycle. So every now and then we see certain asset classes have big moves. Equities might have a sharp move as maybe people are chasing returns. Who knows what the cause might be. Do trend strategies just let them run or do you take profits? Do you intervene manually? What do you do?
