Two accounts come from a man who worked closely with hitler and was right next to him on that day. Most of the comrades had in hailed the devilish mixture of the yellow cross grenades and stumbled away, coughing and panting. They hardly made it back to the bombed out house in whose cellar they had been living when they began to lose their eyesight.
