King and Queen Stories

Sophie loves hearing about battles, chopping off heads and queens and kings. Can I have a queen story please? So let's do the story of Queen Matilda who was never crowned Queen of England. Her father was the king of England but he had a son called Prince William. They set sail from France on the ship called the White Ship. But just outside the harbor in France, the ship hit a rock. It was dark though, no beyond the shore noticed. People on the ship were partying so much they didn't notice that fast then the ship started to sink. Everyone was drowned except the ship's boys. He survived and told everyone what had happened. That King Henry enjoyed
