Introduction
UCSF's Memory and Aging Center has a thriving artistic community. Jake Broder is the 2019 Hellman Artist in Residence at UCSF. His play Our American Hamlet was nominated for Best New Play by independent reviewers of Boston. He also wrote a musical, Miravel, which won the LA Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Score.
