The Story of Tage and Arvin

The ship had been struck by a torpedo fired by a Japanese submarine. Arvin's mother desperately scrambled to find the lifeboats. She can't carry any luggage but she carried me and she tied me up in a shawl at the back. Meanwhile Tage was still on the ship. I saw that people were screaming and crying. It was a full moon when we heard a big bang. According to the Tullau 1942 campaign group 678 people survived while 280 died. But what about the rest of Tage's family? The first time I saw him going. Tage never saw her mother and brothers again.
