We're Not Going to See Race, Right?
Race is the biggest predictor of wealth in this country. 36% of black workers have no emergency savings, compared to 24% of white households. 28% of Latino workers have noEmergency Savings as compared to 24%. We should get all of those down to zero but you can see that there is a disproportionate effect on households of color.
