Have a conversation about diversity. Can you create a culture where people with diametrically opposed opinions strongly held, can co exist? There's plenty of research out there that suggests that companies that are able to foster this type of environment tend to be more creative. Don't just let it happen from the very first employee. Make sure you're following a process. And make sure you assess whether it's working, especially the early employes.
