The Natural Law Tradition Does Not Start With Catholicism
Bishop: Natural law tradition does not begin with catholicism. We can suppose we're being guided by reason, when actually we're not. What god's rev ation does is cast a light, a spotlight, on on the situation. It doesn't displace the need for rational inquiry, deliberation, understanding and judgment in making or choices. But it gives us data that goes beyond what we can know simply by reason itself.
