I was both charmed by the naivete of 23 year old me, but also thinking a lot about God. My problem is when I pull out these old journals, then I spend the rest of the day. And how you react to life punching you in the face is the next part of the journey, so to speak. He had such courage, in my opinion, to leave the law in which he was doing splendidly well, to come over and work for a lunatic like me.
