Is Everything Representational?
Jake: Why is it that we don't just directly guess about the world? He asks why do we guess about the abstractions that are about the world. We sometimes have a theory that the abstractions correspond to something real in the world, or to something in real in our minds. This kind of thing motivates somebody like hapman to say, ok, why are you positing this metaphysical realm of abstractions? And he's like, y you can have it there. Jake: I'm very self congratulat congratulatory in the way that i love listening to the finished episode. It's always hard to follow along sometimes and remember everything we talked about. But
