Is There a Connection Between Poetry and Magic?

There's a surreal cultural connection with poetry and music. Like mysticism connects in in Gaelic culture to the point where there's like they used to have like it used to be a job to be a poet. The whole rapping rap quote unquote rapping to change the world around you really kind of speaks to the idea of music having power because like I can't carry a tune in the bucket. So when I hear someone saying and sound good I'm like what unearthly power do you have? It has power even even without like inherent magic. Just just horror movies in general they would not be the same with that music.
