The Problem With Border Militarization
Most libertarian policy analysts and academics have economics training but not sociology training. Most of what we're drawing on in terms of the pre-existing literature on border militarization comes from historians and sociologists, political scientists. There's a tendency to dismiss other social sciences as soft or squishy. And so you're going to miss qualitative changes in how the state exercises power.
