A cockney as you might know is someone who comes from a particular area of East London. These days, cockneys don't really exist, not in the same way that they used to. Cockney rhyming slang most people know is words like butchers hook meaning look. To chat someone up is to kind of flirt, try and seduce someone through conversation. Chat up lines include what are some of the worst: I do want an invitation to the pants party? There's a party in my pants and I want you to be invited.
