The Sunk Cost Fallacy
I think that there's that like sunk cost fallacy of I spent time doing this thing now or were you like good I'm happy to walk away from it. That can sting the positive that you can take away from that is you had the clarity that you didn't try and blindly go into a role and spend two years in that role. You're not gonna know until you dive yourself into the actual role dip your toes in the water and feel what the rules are.
