Falcon Heaney's Balloon Detached
There was no boy inside the balloon. Law enforcement explored the entire flight path by car, foot, altering vehicles, and horseback. The National Guard sent one of its helicopters back into the sky. At 414 PM, Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderton addressed the media. According to the Denver Post, Alderton conferred with his team and then walked back to the reporters, holding his hands high in a thumbs up gesture.
