The Gruber's

Andreas Gruber and his wife Cecilia lived on a farm 40 miles north of Munich. Their daughter, 35-year-old Victoria, was pregnant with their son Josef when he was born in 1921. The birth certificate listed the initials LS, leaving the boy's paternity a mystery to wonder over. Local gossip claimed the boy was a product of incest between Victoria and her father. In late March 1922 Andreas noticed footprints in the snow that didn't go back into the forest.
