The university of leyden is an interesting case because it actually has a different structure from what you would find in a lutheran university. In the early seventeenth century they rebelled against the humanist programme, insisting that they wanted to be taught aristotelian works. So again, a lot of variation across our region, and there no confessional differences. But definitely in the earlier period, humanism is much more prominent.
